John Saletta has been a trial attorney with Motherway & Napleton since 1992. He was born and raised in the near north suburbs of Chicago. He graduated high school from Loyola Academy in 1979 and then attended the University of Notre Dame where he graduated in 1983. He received his law degree from Loyola University of Chicago in 1988.

Mr. Saletta represents individuals who have sustained severe and disabling injuries as a result of medical malpractice, dangerous products, automobile accidents and worksite accidents. He also represents families of those victims who have died due to the negligence of others. Mr. Saletta has obtained numerous multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements on behalf of these victims and their families. His verdicts in medical malpractice cases within the past few years have included a $16 million dollar verdict to a child born with cerebral palsy, a $5.5 million dollar verdict to the family of a mother who died following childbirth, a $2 million dollar verdict to a man who sustained bilateral compartment syndrome, and a $1.3 million dollar verdict to a woman who developed chronic diarrhea following a medical procedure.

Mr. Saletta has been invited to membership in The Society of Trial Lawyers and the American Board of Trial Advocates, two exclusive groups of trial attorneys. He is an active member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, American Association for Justice, and the Illinois State Bar Association. He has authored several articles and has lectured at professional seminars on topics such as litigation strategies and trial techniques. In addition to practicing in the Illinois State Courts, he has been admitted to the Federal Trial Bar and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
